CONTIS BEACH
SURF SPOT

The 2 hour courses are held by instructors who hold the state certifications of sports instructor in surfing. Contis is crossed by the current in its southern part. As a warm up, everyone will paddle across this current to access the beach of Contis South. This zone offers a stable sandbar from yearly, and is adapted for the beginners in the reforms of the whitewater, the more experienced will appreciate the beautiful « right » mid tide.

« Contis Plage » is one of the most beautiful town on the Landes Coast, furnished with all the amenities that you need to spend your holidays:

• good restaurants and cafés
• a skatepark
• a surfshop
• a cinema

The pine forest that surrounds us brings a « wild » and « peaceful » side to this place. The waves are world class during Fall and Spring. In summer conditions are smaller, and heavy swells are rarely encountered which makes it the perfect season to start or get better at surfing.
